Let’s create some magic together

Since entering the world of children’s design over 15 years ago, I’ve partnered with all sorts of clients, from book illustration for publishers like Cricket Media and Page Publications, to editorial and product illustration for the likes of Sainsbury’s and Next.

I’ve illustrated puzzles, magazine features, flash cards, toys, greeting cards and more. Though nowadays, I’ve honed my specialism to board books for ages 0-3 and picture books for ages 3-7. Being a mother to three children myself, I know just how important storytime can be – so it brings me a lot of joy to craft funny and engaging characters that create these moments of family connection, time and time again!

So, whether you’re a publishing house, a self-publishing writer or an Editorial Director, if you’ve got a meaningful story or message that you’re ready to bring to life in pictures, I’d love to hear from you.

Get to know me

  • I’ve always loved the mountains. Since moving here in 2014, I’ve spent my weekends skiing, hiking, running, stand-up paddleboarding on the lakes and generally enjoying the outdoor life with my family.

  • I dream of writing and illustrating my own series of books! It’s something I’m gradually working on in the background between family life and client projects.

  • I graduated in Textile Design from Nottingham Trent University originally, and later went on to study Illustration at London University of Arts.

  • I get tonnes of creative inspiration from the wildlife and landscape of the Alps. It’s a wonderful place to be a children’s illustrator.

  • If you’re curious about my illustration process – I typically start by sketching using pen and pencils. Then I scan drawings into Photoshop, where I colour and manipulate them using a Wacom tablet.

  • I’m proud to say that my personal values well-and-truly translate into my work and approach. They are family, kindness, optimism, joy and creativity.
